Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

  • ​​League play starts 1st Sunday in May and ends 3rd week of July
  • Players are drafted based on info from applications, there are no tryouts
  • Game times, Monday thru Thursday 6, 7, 8, and sometimes 9 p.m.
  • Teams play 3 Sunday games scattered throughout the summer. All Sunday games at Episcopal Academy. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Teams play approximately 1 game per week
  • Every team makes the playoffs, single game elimination, and championships are best of 3 series
  • Games are outdoors at Narberth playground. Games may be moved indoors due to weather or rescheduled
  • If/when games move indoors - facilities are the Waldron Academy.
  • Rain day/game hotline is 610-667-1890 and coaches will contact players as well.
  • Usually 14 players per team
  • Practices are up to individual coaches
  • Drafts are held 2nd week of April
  • Coaches will contact players by end of 3rd week April
  • Following the drafts, postcards are mailed to every player with coach’s info, team schedule
  • Team tee-shirts are distributed to players at their 1st game. Shirts are to remain whole, no damage to the shirt, cut sleeves, names on back, etc.
  • It is the player’s responsibility to maintain/bring his team shirt to each game. Shirts are not collected by the coach
  • Carpooling is honored for players coming long distances and family members
  • Junior League - presently in 7th and 8th grades - 14 teams with ~14 players per team
  • National League - equivalent to high school freshman/junior varsity level - 12 teams with ~14 players per team
  • American League - high school varsity level - 10 teams with ~14 players per team
