And there are times when it starts to rain during a game and we will make the decision at that time. There is a rainout hotline that will announce this information (610-667-1890) that is made available after 4:30 PM. Do not call the hotline prior to 4:30 PM. Please call your coach first as he will have this information first.
LEAGUE INFORMATION
Referees: All games are officiated by certified PIAA referees. Games are 4 quarters; 8 minutes each quarter; 3 minute overtimes.
Playing Time: We ask coaches to give fair playing time, but we do not put any restrictions on time played. Practices are optional at the coach's discretion.
Defense: Man-to-man in half court/anything in full court.
Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Any player who is involved in a fight will be given a one game suspension for his first offense, and will be expelled from the league for a second offense. If a player accumulates two technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct, he will be suspended for one game. If he then receives a third, he will be expelled from the league. Any coach who receives a total of three technical fouls will be dismissed.
Forfeit Avoidance Policy: Forfeited games are one of the worst things that can happen during a summer league season, as every participant leaves the court unhappy. Therefore, it is imperative that each player takes the responsibility to notify his coach if he cannot make a game. Coaches are also asked to notify and re-notify players about upcoming games.
